Every year many participents take part in the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show hanging basket competiton. The competition is run by The Royal Horticultural Society Of Victoria and entrants can pick up their baskets from nurseries, including Gardenworld. Thanks also goes to Debco and Scotsburn Nurseries two of our nursery suppliers.
This year the competition was once again of a high standard and below is a few photos of some of the ones I liked.

We thank Gardenworld for putting the hanging basket pictures on its site. It is a great event that all can enter. You only need to be a RHSV member to enter. For more information go to www.rhsv.org.au.
We particularly thank our supporters and sponsors like Gardenworld, Debco, Scotsburn Nurseries and Archur baskets for their support.
Without them we cannot put on such a great event. Please support them as much as you can.
This year we had nearly 150 baskets. Next year I want 200. We are aiming at the Guiness book of Records for the biggest hanging basket competition in the world. A big ask. Why not be in it. Give us a call at the RHSV.
